Using television and video for internal communications

share

Television, video and video podcasting has matured as an effective internal communications tool.

While e-mail and print can be over-used and therefore under-valued, video offers internal audiences a new and dynamic approach.

New technology means that television can now deliver more value than ever before. Intranets and DVDs reach wider audiences and digital production techniques are extremely cost-effective, often no more expensive than printing a staff magazine.

Internal communicators can hit their communications goals by using television in a targeted and creative way, including health and safety webcasts, sales promotion tools, corporate profile videos, business television and management conferences.

No other medium is so successful at bringing business issues to life and television should be considered as part of the internal communications toolkit.
